Bannes Students Experience Native American Culture

Bannes third grade students recently attended a special presentation featuring Lou Aiello, an expert on Eastern Woodland Native American culture. Aiello exhibited replicas of a wide range of Native American tools, weapons, and clothing which he made using traditional materials and methods.  With his guidance, students got a hands-on education about the culture of the Native American tribes of the Great Lakes region.
