The Learner Will...

Apply pattern dances to a specific rhythm or folk dance as an
individual,
partner or small group in combination with repeated sequences of
movement
(chorus).
- Apply contact, receipt, propulsive object manipulation
activities while
varying the conditions of speed, level, size and weight of objects
while
maintaining awareness of safety using eye-hand-foot coordination,
locomotor/non-locomotor
movement and opposition in lead-up activities.
- Develop creative dance patterns and singing games using
combinations of
locomotor/non-locomotor movements and manipulative equipment that
involve
speed, direction, level, tempo, repetition in individual, partner and
small
group activity.
- Perform a variety of dual stunts, cooperative/combative
activity using
muscular strength, flexibility and balance at different levels in order
to complete a movement pattern.
- Develop the ability to bear and transfer weight while
performing on a variety
of apparatus equipment and creating movement sequences while increasing
the level of difficulty of the movement tasks.
- Perform transference of static weight-bearing support
into dynamic balance
patterns under the direction and level.
