Physical Education - Kindergarten

The Learner Will....

  1.  Be introduced to creative, simple pattern dances and singing games using locomotor/non-locomotor movements that involve speed, direction, level and tempo.

  2.  
  3.  Be introduced to, and engaged in, locomotor/non-locomotor movements varying the conditions of speed, direction, levels, balance and the awareness of safety.

  4.  
  5.  Be introduced to a variety of weight-bearing stunts and imitative activities.

  6.  
  7.  Be introduced to propulsive-manipulative (sending objects) skills under the conditions of speed, accuracy, level, size (size of object), direction and the awareness of safety.

  9.  Be introduced to receipt of traveling objects (receiving objects) under the conditions of speed, direction, level, size of object and the awareness of safety.

  10.  
  11. Be introduced, as part of each activity, to awareness for safety.

  13. Apply safety awareness to all physical education activities.
