Kirby School District 140 Mission Statement
The mission of Kirby School District 140 is to meet or exceed the needs of the whole student. Our goal as educators is to provide a secure, challenging, and nurturing climate which encourages excellence, self-respect, and fosters the belief that all children can and will learn. With a comprehensive curriculum, we intend to develop students who are life-long learners in an ever-changing technological world. It is our intention to accomplish this through a shared commitment to education and respect for humanity by students, staff, family, and community. Ultimately, our mission is to help develop a socially responsible citizen who has genuine regard for others and is a contributing member of society.
