Did you know that more than $400 billion in federal funding is awarded to communities each year based on their census data? The information the census collects helps determine funding for infrastructure, schools, hospitals, senior centers,

Thanks to all who contributed to our “Coins for Haiti” drive. The proceeds will go to the American Red Cross relief efforts in Haiti.
February Hot Lunch Days are 2/4, 2/11, and 2/19.
Our next PTO meeting is Wednesday, February 10th at 2:45 p.m.
Our skating parties will be held on Thursday, February 11th for fourth grade students and Thursday, February 25th for third grade students.
No School in District 140 – Monday, February 15th – Presidents’ Day
START Day – Friday, February 26th - Early Release for All Grades
Elementary Schools will be dismissed at 12:35 p.m. and Middle Schools will be dismissed at 1:15 p.m. Early Childhood and Half-Day Kindergarten will be dismissed after 2 hours of student attendance.
ISAT Testing in District 140 is March 2nd through March 12th for students in grades 3-8. Please be sure your student gets enough rest and has a good breakfast before coming to school.
Kirby School District 140 will conduct Kindergarten Registration for the 2010-2011 school year on Wednesday, March 31st at the elementary school building the child is scheduled to attend. Registration hours will be from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. If you are unsure of which school, or need additional information, please call the Administration Building at (708) 532-6462. more
