Student Registration

NEW STUDENT REGISTRATION
To register your child you must bring 3 current utility bills and original Birth Certificate to the Administration Building located at:

16931 S. Grissom Drive
Tinley Park, IL 60477
Monday through Friday - 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Closed All Fridays in July and the first 2 Fridays in August, 2008

To attend school in the Fall of 2008, children must be five years old on or before September 1, 2008.


RETURNING REGISTRATION
1. Registration Packets will be mailed to homes during the end of April.
2. Student Fees and Transportation Fees are due May 16, 2008.
3. Parent Information Day is Wednesday, August 13, 2008.
4. Student Fees received after May 16, 2008 will pay the normal fee rate and not be     eligible for the discounted program.
5. Students will not be guaranteed their home school if registration forms are returned     after July 15, 2008.


KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION
WEDNESDAY FEBRUARY 13, 2008
9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. & 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Register at the elementary school your child will attend.

You must provide 3 current utility bills and an original Birth Certificate.
Child must be age 5 on or before 09/01/2008

AT-RISK PRESCHOOL SCREENING
Kirby School District 140 provides an at-risk screening for children who will be three years of age or older by the date of the screening. At-risk screening is provided on selected dates throughout the school year. This screening covers areas of speech, language, fine motor development, gross motor development, and concept information. To make an appointment please have your child's Social Security Number available and call the Department of Special Services at 708/532-8537.
