Fernway Veteran's Day 11/2011

On November 11th, Fernway's Choir performed for the Annual Veteran's Day Program. The choir under the direction of Mrs. Jones and student teacher Mr. Michael Bielecki, performed such pieces as "America the Beautiful", "God Bless America", and "American Tears". A number of students sang solos and Mr. Bielecki played his saxophone. Officer Mark Wirth, Jr.
from the Orland Park Police Department, spoke about being a Veteran. Mrs. Novak, Principal, recited the names of all of the Veterans in attendance. The program ended with the playing of "Taps".
