Millennium Veterans Day Assembly 11/2011

Millennium Elementary School observed Veterans Day on the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month in the 11th year! (Friday, November 11, 2011). Veterans from Post 2791 provided the color guard for the assembly. Dr. Byrne, District 140 superintendent, read a letter to the assembly. All veterans were honored with a musical number. Joshua Litao, a fourth grader at the school, played "America, the Beautiful" on his violin, and the entire student body sang "Hats Off to You!"
