Bannes Kindergarten Tree Planting 09/2011

During September, kindergarten students at Bannes helped plant a tree on school grounds as part of their Science curriculum.
By systematic investigation of their tree over the seasons, students will gain a better understanding of a tree's place at school and in the community. Additionally, students will observe changes in weather day to day, over the year, and the impact weather has on the tree.
By the end of the year, students will have some solid experiences to help them know plants and their place on Earth.
