Congratulations to our Tinley Park Fire Department's Fire Prevention Poster Contest Winners! Recently, excited classmates and staff were on hand to see our young artists arrive at school in a fire truck.
At the beginning of each school year, the Fire Prevention Bureau holds its annual fire safety poster contest. Students in kindergarten through high school are encouraged to create posters depicting what they've learned about fire safety.
Our winners received a ride to school in a fire engine and will have their posters featured in the annual firefighters calendar. In addition, a banquet was held for all the winners and their families and teachers.
