Millennium Kindergarten Tree Planting 09/2011

During September, kindergarten students at Millennium helped plant two trees on school grounds as part of their Science curriculum. The children named the trees Morton and Maple Syrup!
By systematic investigation of their trees over the seasons, students will gain a better understanding of a tree's place at school and in the community. Additionally, students will observe changes in weather day to day, over the year, and the impact weather has on the trees.
By the end of the year, students will have some solid experiences to help them know plants and their place on Earth.
