Kindergarten Family Event - Musician and Author Jim Gill to Appear at Fernway

KSD 140 is inviting parents/guardians and their Kindergarten students to a fun-filled family musical event featuring award-winning musician and author Jim Gill! This event will be held at Fernway Elementary, located at 16600 S. 88th Avenue in Orland Park.

Jim Gill, an award-winning musician and author, offers more than a show to watch. It's an opportunity for active play!

In concert, Mr. Gill bangs out energetic rhythms on his banjo while everyone claps, jumps, dances and even sneezes along to the silly and inspiring musical games that he creates.

Concerts also feature opportunities for the "read-along and sing-along" play that Jim uniquely conveys in his books.

But the key ingredients in each concert are the active participation and the interactions between children and caring adults. These make each concert a celebration of music and play!
