Author Kari Anne Holt Visits PV Middle School

Kari Anne Holt, author of Rhyme Schemer (Rebecca Caudill nominee 2017) and House Arrest (Rebecca Caudill nominee 2018), visited Prairie View and discussed her books, writing as a poet, and her life as an author. Students and staff laughed at Holt's embarrassing moments and were moved by her struggles as a mother whose son required a tracheostomy. She answered questions about her creativity and her work as an author. After her presentation and a Q&A session, Holt signed books for excited students and staff. We would like to extend a HUGE thank you to the Prairie View PTO who provided this opportunity for our students.
