Welcome to Prairie View Middle School's home page. Our students are divided into six interdisciplinary teams for grades six through eight, following the middle school concept. The middle school philosophy is evident in the curriculum as well as all extracurricular activities.

Prairie View is part of Kirby School District 140 which includes five elementary and two middle schools. We are located in Tinley Park, Illinois, a rapidly growing suburban residential community. Our district is approximately 30 miles southwest of Chicago.

Mission Statement:
The mission of Prairie View is to provide an environment that promotes cognitive, physical, social, and emotional needs of middle school students so they become life long learners in an ever changing world. In partnership with parents and community, we strive to enable them to become productive contributing members of society.
