I would like to begin by thanking all of our students again for their participation in our Haiti relief fundraiser. Our goal was to collect $2,000.00, and we smashed that mark by collecting well over that amount. Congratulations to Grissom's Liberty Singers and the Patriot Chorus who both received Division I – Superior ratings at the IGSMA contest on March 6th! Both groups qualified for the state contest in April.
ISAT Testing in District 140 is March 2nd through March 12th for students in grades 3-8. Please be sure your student gets enough rest and has a good breakfast before coming to school.
March Hot Lunch Days are 3/3, 3/10, 3/17, and 3/31.
Go Patriots! Our Boys’ Basketball and Girls’ Volleyball SWIC Tournaments will be held March 6th and March 13th.
Best of luck to the District 140 Concert, Symphonic, and Cadet bands as they perform at the IGSMA District Organization Band Contest and St. Laurence Band Directors’ Festival on Saturday, March 13th.
Our Spring Choral Concert is Wednesday, March 15th at 7:30 p.m.
District 140's Spring Break is March 22nd through March 26th. Classes resume in all Elementary and Middle Schools on March 29th.
Kindergarten Registration for the 2010-2011 school year is Wednesday, March 31st at the elementary school building the child is scheduled to attend. Registration hours will be from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. If you are unsure of which school, or need additional information, please call the Administration Building at (708) 532-6462. more
