Mr. Sean Shannon (5-5)

I started my journey to education in 1993 when I enrolled in Saint Joseph's College in Rensselaer, IN (Go Pumas!).  I graduated in 1997 with a degree in Elementary Education, and a minor in math and science.  I began teaching at Kirby Elementary in 1997, and transferred to Millennium Elementary when Kirby closed quite some time ago! While working in school district 140, I earned a Masters degree in Educational Administration from Governor's State University. I am currently in my 23rd year of teaching in Kirby School District 140, and have loved every year.  I try to bring an enthusiastic and humorous approach to teaching. Hopefully, this keeps your child more engaged in the lessons and keeps the learning fun!

I currently reside in Woodrdige, IL with my family and our puppy, Molly!
