PARCC Testing for Students Grades 3 – 8

The testing window for KSD 140’s Spring 2018 administration of the state mandated Partnership for Assessment of Readiness for College and Careers (PARCC) begins on March 12th and concludes on April 20th.

The PARCC test will be administered to all students in grades 3 through 8. The assessment is aligned to our learning standards and aims to give educators, families and students a more accurate measure of how well Illinois public school children are performing and whether they’re on track to succeed in college.

As we work together to prepare our students for this rigorous assessment, please keep the following in mind:

• Make sure students arrive to school on time, rested, and prepared for testing.
• Ensure that your student eats a healthy breakfast.
• Discuss the importance of doing your best on any assessment.
