Registration Fee Discount Ends April 30
Third through fifth grade students faced off in Bannes Elementary's annual Battle of the Books, a quiz show type of competition meant to test literary knowledge. At the event, students were asked questions by librarians from the Tinley Park Library relating to the content of this year's twenty Bluestem nominated novels. Competition was fierce, but the championship battle was won by team Gloria, Evelyn, Shadin, Nora, and Mateah.
All teams came prepared to win and deserve recognition. Congratulations to all our participants on a job well done!
The winning team will go on to represent Bannes at the District Battle of the Books on Tuesday, May 21st at the Tinley Park Public Library. Good luck team Bannes!
