Student Council Pet Supply Drive Supports Tails of Redemption

A group of children pose while holding dog collection items like toys, balls, and snacks.

The Student Council’s recent pet supply collection for the Cook County Sheriff’s Tails of Redemption program was a huge success. Students and families generously donated blankets, chew toys, treats, leashes, and bags of dog food to support the program’s comfort animals.

Cook County Sheriff’s officers visited the school to collect the donations and surprised students with a special visit from two of their comfort puppies, Winter and Storm. The puppies visited classrooms and brought plenty of smiles to both students and staff.

Thank you to everyone who contributed to making this meaningful service project such a success!

Two children and a dog are gathered around a collection of donated pet supplies, including food, toys, and blankets, with cardboard boxes in the background.
