Dear Fernway Families,
After many wonderful years at Fernway, I am writing to share that I will be retiring from my role as principal at the end of this school year.
Fernway has been a truly special place for me. It has been an honor to work with such wonderful students, supportive families, and an incredible staff. I am deeply grateful for the years I have spent as part of this community and for the relationships and memories that will always mean so much to me.
I will share a more detailed message later this spring to properly thank everyone who has made my time here so meaningful. For now, I wanted you to hear this news directly from me. I look forward to finishing the year strong and enjoying these final months together at Fernway.
I am also pleased to share that Mr. John Conley has been selected as the next principal of Fernway Park Elementary School. Mr. Conley holds a master’s degree in principal preparation from Concordia University Chicago, a master’s degree in music education from VanderCook College of Music in Chicago, and a bachelor’s degree in piano performance from Lewis University. I am confident that Fernway will continue to thrive under his leadership and that he will build upon the strong foundation that makes this school so special.
