Fernway School Office Temporarily Relocated to Prairie View Middle School
Dear Fernway Families,
As this school year comes to a close, so does an incredible chapter in my life. I have been truly blessed to spend 37 amazing years at the best school there is…Fernway. It is hard to believe that this journey is coming to an end.
Over the years, I have had the opportunity to grow alongside this wonderful community. I began my career teaching Kindergarten, later moved to second grade, then became a reading specialist, and was honored to finish my career as your principal. Each role brought special memories, meaningful relationships, and countless moments of joy that I will carry with me forever.
Thank you for allowing me to play a part in your child’s life. Whether it was teaching, encouraging, celebrating accomplishments, helping through challenges, or simply greeting them each morning, it has been the greatest privilege of my career. I am forever grateful for the trust and support you have shown me throughout the years.
Fernway has always been more than a school to me... it has been home. The students, families, and staff have made these 37 years more meaningful than I could have ever imagined. While I may be retiring, a piece of my heart will always remain here at Fernway.
Thank you for the memories, the kindness, the laughter, and the love. I will cherish them always.
