D140 School Year 2020-21 Planning Survey

Help us plan for the 2020-21 school year by taking this survey!

After receiving guidance from the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) regarding the 2020-21 school year, D140 would like to gather family feedback to help with our fall planning. Your input will be used to help guide discussions and decisions surrounding teaching and learning, safety, health, operations, and communications.

The three potential back-to-school models released by the ISBE include in-person learning, remote learning, and a blended model (a combination of in-person and remote learning). Each model that includes in-person learning would require wearing face coverings, observing social distancing when possible, cleaning protocols, and other health guidelines as determined by the State of Illinois.

The remote learning model requires that staff and students engage in five (5) hours of synchronous (live, web-based instruction) and asynchronous (independent learning activities) instruction each day. Grading and attendance procedures will be observed. Information gathered from this survey will help us plan for these potential scenarios.

Please submit one survey per household by Tuesday, July 7. Your time and feedback are greatly appreciated!
