Keller Raises Over $17,000 for Childhood Cancer Research

A student with a shaved head proudly displays a gold medal around their neck at St. Baldrick's event.

Courage, compassion, and community spirit were on full display at Helen Keller Elementary School as students and staff shaved their heads to support childhood cancer research during the school’s March St. Baldrick’s fundraiser.

With the support of an incredibly generous school community, Keller raised more than $17,000 for childhood cancer research.

A special shout-out goes out to:

  • Keller’s shavees and their families
  • Keller’s St. Baldrick’s Committee
  • Keller’s PTO
  • Julia's Legacy of Hope
  • Stylists from Wildflower Hair Salon
  • Dunkin' Donuts in Tinley Park on 171st Street & 80th Avenue

Thanks to the dedication of its volunteers and the strong support of the Keller school community, our St. Baldrick’s event continues to make a meaningful difference in the fight against childhood cancer.
