Dear Keller Families,
I hope you are enjoying the remainder of your summer. As we prepare to welcome students back for another exciting school year, I wanted to share an update on the renovation project at Keller.
I'm happy to share that the new interior additions to our building will be ready for the start of school. Students and staff will benefit from eight new learning spaces, along with new student and staff restrooms.
As a result of these additions, some grade levels will be located in new areas of the building this year. Keller staff will be prepared to help students find their classrooms on the first day of school, and building maps will be displayed at school events for families. We look forward to welcoming students into these new learning spaces and helping them settle in quickly.
A few exterior improvements will continue after the school year begins. The relocation of Keller's playground and construction of a dedicated blacktop area for recess and bus rider arrival and dismissal are expected to be completed this fall. We look forward to celebrating the opening of the Keller playground with a Back-to-School Bash upon the completion of the exterior renovation. More information about the Back-to-School Bash will be provided in the coming weeks.
Throughout the remaining construction, student safety will remain our highest priority. Active work areas will be securely separated from students and staff, and we are working closely with our construction partners to ensure a safe and smooth start to the school year.
As additional details regarding arrival, dismissal, parking, and outdoor activities become available, we will share those updates with families through ParentSquare before the first day of school.
Thank you for your continued patience and support during this exciting transformation. These improvements will provide our students with an enhanced learning environment for many years to come, and we look forward to welcoming everyone back to Keller soon.
