Welcome to 1-3!

I'm very excited to begin my 7th year of teaching. I began my teaching experience teaching 4th grade at McAuliffe, and for the last six years I have been teaching 1st grade.

I wanted to be a teacher ever since I was in first grade. My first grade teacher made a huge impact on my life, and made me want to become a teacher. 

I live in Chicago with my husband, daughter, and our dog. When I am not at school, I love to go to my parent's house in Michigan, take Sadie to our local park, and go shopping.
