Catching Fire Book Club

Dive into Catching Fire, the thrilling second novel in The Hunger Games trilogy, and take a closer look at the characters, conflicts, themes, and events that drive the story. As we read, students will explore Katniss’s changing relationships, the consequences of her choices, and the growing tension between the Capitol and the districts. Students will participate in engaging discussions, share their reactions and perspectives, analyze important moments from the novel, and make connections between the story’s themes and the world around them. This book club is a great opportunity for eigthth-grade students to strengthen their reading and discussion skills while connecting with fellow readers who are excited to explore the world of Panem.
