Registration Fee Discount Ends April 30
The Grissom girls' and boys' cross country teams both took home first place trophies at the annual Heenan Challenge held on Wednesday, September 19th at Centennial Park.
Each team had the winning runner in their respective races. Rylee Erickson won the girls' race, while Kenny Carter captured the top spot in the boys' race. In addition, Paige Swaw, Ava Sherry, Maddie McGlynn, Kaitlyn Gudyka, Jax Carter, Noah Haglund and Ryan Cahill all had top ten finishes.
Grissom had a strong showing in the girls' and boys' JV races, as well. The girls won first place, while the boys placed third. Rachel Young, Emily Nieto, Sarai Dempsey, and Jordan Grasser were top 10 finishers for the girls. Evan Dickinson, Thano Fefles, and Josh McClelland finished in the top 10 for the boys.
