8th Grade Extravaganza Planning is Underway

It’s already time to start planning for our 8th Grade Extravaganza! This year’s event will be held on Friday, May 8th from 4:00 to 7:00 pm. 

The Extravaganza is a time for our eighth graders to celebrate their middle school years and their movement on to the next chapter in their lives…high school. This is a fun-filled event that the graduating class looks forward to.  Students will have a great time hanging out with friends, playing games, and eating a variety of food. There will be a D.J. inflatables, photo booth, caricatures, and more!

In order to make this an unforgettable evening for our 8th graders, we are looking for your help. This is a free event for students in which we rely heavily on donations from parents and the community. We would be very appreciative of any donation that you would be willing to give. We are looking for monetary donations, gift certificates to local stores or restaurants, and prizes. We will accept food and beverage donations closer to the Extravaganza date. We are asking that monetary, gift card, and prize donations be sent in by April 8th so that our Extravaganza Planning Committee has an idea of what resources they will have to work with. Monetary donations will go towards purchasing any items needed for the celebration. No donation amount is too big or small. Checks should be written to KSD 140.
