May 8th Student Belongings/8th Grade Update Email

Dear Parents/Guardians/Students,

We have been working on a plan for families to pick up student belongings from school. This week, staff has been emptying all contents from both the hallway and PE lockers. We will be bagging and labeling all the students’ belongings to prepare for pick up. We will have three pickup days during the week of May 18th. Specific details will be sent out next week.

8th GRADE INFORMATION:

The 8th grade graduation signs were delivered today.  Barring any unforeseen issues, staff will place the signs on the lawns of our students on Monday, May 11th, most likely in the early afternoon.  Caps and gowns and any graduation pictures that were delivered to Grissom will be placed on the doorstep. If staff is unable to deliver to your doorstep, these items can be picked up from Grissom when student locker belongings are picked up the following week. 

We are working hard to put together an alternative plan to honor our 8th grade graduates. Planning an event like this for our graduates-to-be does take time and we have not finalized a plan yet. Please know that we are working on it and will communicate with graduates and their families as soon as that information is available
