Breakthrough will be held at Prairie View Middle School on Friday, February 13, from 5:00–9:00 p.m. This year’s theme is “Ignite the Night.”
This four-hour, high-energy retreat is designed for middle school students and focuses on building leadership, decision-making skills, self-esteem, and personal responsibility. The experience is both meaningful and engaging for participants. Open to all Grissom and Prairie View Middle School students, Breakthrough features a mix of large and small-group sessions covering topics such as:
- Communication skills
- Decision-making and problem-solving
- Peer pressure
- Drug and alcohol awareness
- Developing a positive mental attitude
Parent permission form and $35 fee are due by Monday, February 2.
