K-5 Textbook/Resource Information:
Savvas Envision Math resource is used in kindergarten through fifth grade. This resource combines problem-based learning with visual learning. The Savvas website includes further information.
HMH Into Reading resource is used in kindergarten through fifth grade. This resource is designed to improve literacy through student self-actualized learning. The HMH Into Reading website includes further information.
Mystery Science resource is used in kindergarten through fifth grade. This resource offers open-and-go, hands-on lessons that inspire students to love science. The Mystery Science website includes further information.
TCI Social Studies resource is used in kindergarten through fifth grade. This resource is interactive and comprehensive and promotes blended learning methods. The TCI website includes further information.
Middle School Textbook/Resource Information:

McGraw Hill’s STUDYSYNC resource is used in sixth through eighth grade. This resource is comprehensive and brings literature to life for every learner. The StudySync website includes further information.
IQWST by Activate Learning is used in sixth through eighth grade. This research-based resource is supported by the National Science Foundation and aligned with the Next Generation Science Standards, with the flexibility to meet ALL state standards. It has a literacy focus: reading, writing, talking, and doing science. The Activate Learning website includes further information.
The TCI Social Studies resource is used in grades 6 through 8. This resource is interactive and comprehensive, promoting blended learning methods. The TCI website includes further information.
Kirby School District 140 focuses on Standards-Based Teaching and Learning. Teachers work to vertically align their grade-level standards to the grade levels above and below to support students with a seamless transition between grades, ensuring consistent skill development and academic growth. In addition, teacher teams create Units with resources designed around the standards.
