Dear Parents and Band Members,

Grissom and Prairie View band members can access additional class documentation on Google Classroom and our elementary (5th grade) band members can view class handouts on the Beginning Band portion of this site.

2025 - 2026 Band Registration Information
Parents of current 5th, 6th, and 7th graders: please carefully read the information. We ask for your response no later than Friday, May 9.  Summer Band Camp will take place at Prairie View on July 29, 30, 31, August 1, 5, 6, 7.  The Summer Band finale concert will take place on August 7 at 12:00 p.m.

IGSMA District Band Contest
CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR KSD 140 SYMPHONIC, CONCERT, & CADET BANDS ON ALL RECEIVING A SUPERIOR RATING AT THE 2025 IGSMA DISTRICT BAND CONTEST THIS YEAR.

Congratulations to our Symphonic and Concert Bands on receiving a Superior rating and our Cadet Band on their Excellant rating at the IGSMA STATE CONTEST on April 26!
