Mrs. Laura Cler
Teacher
I attended Illinois State University and completed my degree in Deaf and Hard of Hearing Education in May 1991. During 2010-2011, I completed a Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a English Second Language Endorsement. I started my teaching career at Kirby District 140 in the fall of 1991. I have worked in self-contained classrooms in the past. I currently serve students with hearing loss in the district. I travel between all seven schools. I work with students from three years old through eighth grade. My job is never boring, and each day is a different adventure.
I currently live in Manhattan, Illinois with my husband and three sons. Jackson, Jason, and James keep me very busy!
