D140 School Board Honors Good Samaritan Students

School board members and District administrators honored five students for their good character and acts of citizenship at Thursday’s Board of Education Meeting.

McAuliffe siblings Dean, Drew, and Gwendolyn Forst and Fernway students Reem Kittaneh and Katherine Otokiti were recognized for their selflessness during two separate incidents involving an individual in need of medical assistance.

D140 commends these students for their compassion, respect, responsibility, and courage.
