McAuliffe’s Family Literacy and STEAM Night a Success

Smiling student proudly poses with pencil tower

McAuliffe held their annual Literacy and STEAM Night on Wednesday, March 20. Families engaged in matter experiments through root beer floats, created recycled plastic bag bracelets inspired by the book One Plastic Bag, played family math games, engineered pencil towers, collaged homes, and created digital animation with Legos through the Stop Motion app. The Andrew High School robotics team also attended, wowing students with their robots and inspiring them to explore the world of robotics.

Teachers and staff worked alongside the PTO to put on a great night full of exploratory learning and community!
