As we gear up for another great school year, we want to remind everyone that 88th Avenue, between 172nd Street and just south of Carriage Lane, is a designated school zone. Over the summer, the Village of Tinley Park refreshed the striping and signage in that area to help keep drivers alert and our students safe.
The school zone speed limit is 20 mph on school days when children are present. Please watch for crossing guards, pedestrians, and buses making frequent stops.
