Congratulations to Ellen M., the T.P. Fire Prevention Poster Contest Grand Prize Winner!

Grand prize fire prevention poster winners poses with classmates and fire fighters in front of fire engine outside of school after getting a ride to school

Fifth-grader Ellen M. won the annual Tinley Park Fire Prevention Poster Contest and earned an exciting reward. Named the grand prize winner, Ellen was recognized for her winning poster and enjoyed a special ride to school aboard a Tinley Park fire truck.

Each fall, the Tinley Park Fire Department hosts the poster contest to recognize National Fire Prevention Week. Kindergarten through eighth-grade students are invited to create posters highlighting the year's Fire Prevention Week theme. This year's theme, "Charge into Fire Safety. Safe Charging is a Superpower,” encouraged students to learn more about an important fire safety topic.

Congratulations Ellen!
