D140 Welcomes 110 Inductees into National Junior Honor Society

Congratulations to the 110 seventh grade students who were inducted into the Grissom and Prairie View chapters of the National Junior Honor Society (NJHS).  In order to qualify, students must have a GPA of at least 3.8 and have demonstrated excellence in the areas of Scholarship, Leadership, Service, Character and Citizenship.  Chapter membership not only recognizes students for their accomplishments, but also challenges them to further develop their leadership skills through active involvement in school activities and community service.
