Registration Fee Discount Ends April 30
The Illinois Grade School State Band Festival was hosted once again this year on Saturday, April 27th at Prairie View Middle School. Ten bands, including KSD 140's Cadet, Concert, and Symphonic Bands, earned the opportunity to perform.
All three D140 bands turned in outstanding performances with the Symphonic Band setting the high score of the day.
"We're really proud of how hard our students worked, not only to get here, but to attain the level of performance that they displayed," stated Band Director Michael Szczasny.
Mr. Hodges, Ms. Schubbe and Mr. Szczasny would like to thank the Band Parent Board and the dozens of parents who bought and sold ads, donated concessionsn and volunteered their time to make the event an unequivocal success. We appreciate your support!
