KSD 140 Names Brian Nemeth Director of Technology

Kirby School District 140 recently named Mr. Brian Nemeth as its Director of Technology. Nemeth will assume leadership of the IT Department beginning July 1st and will manage the technology infrastructure, oversee technology integration in the classroom, and guide the District’s Technology team.

"The Director of Technology is an integral and vital position to the District," stated Superintendent Shawn Olson. "We are so pleased to have someone of Brian's caliber and expertise leading our Technology efforts."

Nemeth is a graduate of DeVry Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science degree in Network Communications Management. He holds multiple certifications and extensive coursework in Cisco, Apple, and Windows Server Management. Currently the IT Manager, Nemeth has served the D140 community in multiple IT roles over the past 20 years, including serving on several district-wide committees aimed at enhancing instruction and providing professional development and training.

For the past 20 years, I have been dedicated to bettering technology for both students and staff throughout the district,” stated Nemeth. “As Director of Technology, I will continue to work hard to improve and advance available technology so that student learning and staff experiences are unquestionably proficient.”
