KSD 140’s Polar Plunge team took a dip in the icy waters of the Braidwood Recreation Club lake on Saturday, March 9. Led by educators Kristy Baumgartner, Laura Cler, Chrisie DeCarlo, Ashley Krizik, and committee members from each of the District's seven schools, D140’s sixty-one participants raised more than $31,000 for Special Olympics Illinois athletes. They also brought home the Top Team Fundraising Cool School trophy for raising the most money.

Congratulations to all our participants!
