Breakthrough is an empowering four-hour retreat for middle school students focused on building leadership, decision-making skills, self-esteem, and personal responsibility. This high-energy event is both meaningful and engaging for students.
Open to all Grissom and Prairie View Middle School students, Breakthrough features a mix of large and small-group sessions covering topics such as:
- Communication skills
- Decision-making and problem-solving
- Peer pressure
- Drug and alcohol awareness
- Developing a positive mental attitude
Breakthrough will be held at Prairie View Middle School on Friday, February 13, from 5:00 – 9:00 pm. Parent permission form and $35 fee are due by Monday, February 2.
