March is Music in Our Schools Month, a time to recognize the importance of music education and the incredible talents of our student musicians! Throughout the month, students in District 140 will showcase their musical abilities through performances and concerts to highlight the value of music in our schools.

- Wednesday, March 4 - Music in Our Schools Showcase Concert featuring the KSD 140 Concert Band and the Grissom and Prairie View Chorus @ 7:30 p.m. at Prairie View Middle School.
- Tuesday, March 10 - Jazz Concert featuring the KSD 140 Jazz Band and Jazz Ensemble @ 7:00 p.m. at Andrew High School
- Wednesday, March 11 - Illinois Music Education Association's (ILMEA) Large Ensemble Festival featuring the Concert Band @ 8:30 a.m. at Olivet Nazarene University
- Saturday, March 14 - Illinois Grade School Music Association's (IGSMA) District Band Concert at Tinley Central Middle School
- KSD 140 Cadet Band @ 9:20 a.m.
- KSD 140 Concert Band @ 10:40 a.m.
- KSD 140 Symphonic Band @ noon.
- Wednesday, March 18 - SWIC Honor Band Concert featuring select eighth-grade students @ 7:00 p.m. at Jerling Junior High School
