Board of Ed Celebrates Students and Staff at April 2026 Board Meeting

Board of Education Recognition” with a gold award seal and laurel wreath, and a button labeled “April 2026,” in a blue and gold formal design

At its April 16 meeting, the D140 school board honored Keller fifth-grader Juliana N. for receiving the 2026 Outstanding Student Technology Award from the Infinitec Southwest Assistive Technology Coalition.

This prestigious regional honor recognizes students who demonstrate exceptional progress and skill in using assistive technology to support their learning and independence. Juliana’s growth, perseverance, and ability to use technology as a tool for success truly exemplify this award. She was formally recognized at a ceremony at the Chicago Gaelic Park in March.

We congratulate Juliana, her family, and the dedicated staff who support her each day on this outstanding achievement.
