District 140 Welcomes Dr. Ana Ochoa as Director of Business Services/CSBO

Dr. Ana G. Ochoa has been appointed as the Director of Business Services and Chief School Business Official (CSBO) for Kirby School District 140.

Dr. Ochoa brings more than 12 years of district-level leadership experience in school finance, operations, human resources, and strategic planning. Throughout her career, she has been committed to responsible stewardship of public resources, operational excellence, and creating systems that support student success.

"We are fortunate to welcome someone with Dr. Ochoa's extensive experience and passion for public service to District 140," said Superintendent Dr. Daniel Callaghan. "She understands that strong financial and operational systems create opportunities for students to succeed, and we look forward to the positive impact she’ll have on our district."

Dr. Ochoa holds a Doctor of Education in Ethical Leadership from Olivet Nazarene University, a Master of Business Administration from DePaul University’s Kellstadt Graduate School of Business, and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Robert Morris University. She is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Educational Technology with a concentration in Curriculum and Instruction at Concordia University Chicago.

She serves as Vice Chair of the Illinois Association of School Business Officials (IASBO) Professional Development Committee for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, and has been elected to serve on the IASBO Board of Directors for Fiscal Years 2027–2029. She is also an active member of the Illinois Association of Latino Administrators and Superintendents (IALAS).

"I am grateful for the opportunity to serve the Kirby School District 140 community,” said Dr. Ochoa. “I look forward to listening, learning, and working alongside our students, families, staff, and Board of Education to ensure our resources are used wisely in support of excellent educational opportunities for every student."
