The Grissom Patriots boys’ softball team ended their season by capturing first place in the Southwest Interscholastic Conference (SWIC) tournament.
Coached by Mr. George Chicvara, the championship roster includes Robert B., Luke B., CJ C., Shane G., Easton G., Cameron J., Eddie L., Austin M., Joey P., Landon P., Broden R., Luke S., Luke S., Camden S., and Casey S.
Special recognition goes to Luke B., who was named to the SWIC All-Conference Team and earned Tournament MVP honors.
“I am extremely proud of the way this team competed throughout the season,” said Coach Chicvara. “The players worked hard, supported one another, and never gave up. Winning the SWIC tournament is a great accomplishment and a terrific way to finish the season.”
