Each month, one of our seven schools takes center stage at the Board of Education meeting and shares something unique about their building. This month, Principal Kelly Follard shared how Bannes students are discovering that their ideas and voices can make a difference. This year’s Challenge Accepted theme encourages students to believe in themselves, embrace challenges, and see what they can achieve.
One student put that message into action by proposing a greater student voice at school. Her idea led to the Student Advisory Council, where students share what they value about Bannes, what they would change, and what they dream their school can become.
