Student Voice: SSAC’s January Meeting

Thanks to Prairie View’s Anand Erdenesaikhan, Mark Flisk, Brayden Guzak, Allie Krueger, Emily Rizzo, and Carson Solomon for participating in our January Superintendent’s Student Advisory Council (SSAC) meeting. Chosen for their outstanding character and leadership qualities, these students shared candid insights with District administrators on several topics of importance including curriculum, technology, and school environment.

In an effort to expand opportunities for student voice, the Superintendent’s Student Advisory Council meets regularly throughout the school year and allows the superintendent and his administrative team to gather feedback directly from D140 students. Meeting locations and student participants vary from month-to-month with the goal of encouraging collaboration, improving teamwork, and collecting diverse perspectives.
