As Winter Break approaches, we would like to wish the students, parents, staff, and community members a happy and healthy holiday season!

Congratulations to the Prairie View boys' 6th/7th grade volleyball team who capped off a perfect season by taking first place in the Southwest Interscholastic Conference (SWIC) tournament on Saturday, December 11.

The Eagles 8th grade girls basketball team had a very successful season.

This week, KSD 140 middle school students met with representatives from the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) as part of the “I Chose My Future” Drug Prevention Program.

In an effort to expand opportunities for student voice, the Superintendent’s Student Advisory Council (SSAC) meets regularly throughout the school year and allows the superintendent to gather feedback directly from D140 students.

Parent/Teacher Conferences are scheduled in all KSD 140 elementary and middle schools on Monday, November 22 from 1 - 8 p.m. and Tuesday, November 23 from 8 a.m. - 3 p.m.

As part of Project RIDE (Reinforcement in Drug Education), seventh-grade students in KSD 140 recently met with representatives from the Tinley Park Police Department. The purpose of Project RIDE is...

On Wednesday, November 17, the KSD 140 Jazz Ensemble performed with the Brass Tracks jazz band at the Quarry in Lemont.

November 15th is School Board Members Day - a time to salute the work of our volunteer school board members and to celebrate public education.

On Saturday, November 13, several KSD 140 band members performed at the ILMEA Jazz Festival.

First-quarter student report cards can be viewed through your Infinite Campus Parent Portal at the end of the school day on Friday, November 12.

D140 students and staff are encouraged to wear red, white, and blue to commemorate Veterans Day on Thursday, November 11.
