Registration Fee Discount Ends April 30
At a celebration on Friday, May 19, Prairie View students and staff honored veterans and thanked them for their dedicated and loyal service to our country. Over 30 veterans and their loved ones from the Prairie View community attended, including veterans from the Korean War, the Vietnam War, the Gulf War, and Operation Enduring Freedom.
The celebration featured sixth through eighth-grade members of the Prairie View band playing various patriotic songs directed by Mr. Mike Szczasny, Mrs. Ana Angelos, and Mr. Mark Hodges. The Celebration also included a guest speaker, Mr. Jeff Ficaro, a Prairie View parent and decorated veteran. Members of Prairie View’s NJHS also helped build a “Wall of Heroes” honoring veterans from the Prairie View community.
